Notice of Retirement Board Election

A Retirement Board seat will become vacant at the end of a term of office on February 20, 2026.

Under the Charter and the San Francisco Administrative Code, whenever the term of office of an elected Retirement Board member expires, an election is held to fill the expected vacancy. The Retirement Board announced the upcoming vacancy at its July 9, 2025 meeting. The election will be held during the period from Monday, January 12, 2026 to Friday, January 30, 2026.

For your information and guidance, a “Notice of Retirement Board Election” is enclosed. Please post this notice in a conspicuous place in each of your worksites or locations. We seek widespread distribution so employees and retirees may be notified of the forthcoming election.

Please note that the period for nominations is from Tuesday, October 7, 2025 to Friday, November 7, 2025.
