Retired members who have monthly benefits directly deposited into their bank account, now have the option to no longer receive advice notices via U.S. mail. To discontinue paper advice notices mailed to you, follow these five easy steps:
- Click “Register” on the SFERS website Home page to register for the secure member portal, mySFERS
- Log into your account using the username and password you created during registration
- From your account Dashboard, select “View my Advice Notice”
- In the right corner of the Advice Notice screen, click on “Manage Advice Notice Mailing”
- Click on “Turn Off Mailed Advice Notice”
That’s it! You will no longer receive your advice notice in the mail (please allow up to two pay cycles for the “opt out” to take effect).
