Employee Contribution Rates to Decrease by 0.5% Beginning July 1, 2023

Starting on July 1, 2023, City and County of San Francisco employees will see a 0.5% decrease in their contribution to the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System (SFERS). This one half percent decrease results from SFERS’ prudent financial performance.

To view the 2023-24 contribution rates and base rate of pay effective as of July 1, 2023, select the “Active Members” tab, then select your membership group and “Contributions”.
